Buehler Lecture on abdominal wall surgery

Dr. Stephen Mathes, professor and head of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, will present the ninth annual Peter K. Buehler Lecture this year.

Mathes will speak on “Complex Abdominal Wall Reconstruction: Evolving Techniques” at Surgical Grand Rounds on Wednesday, Feb. 6. The presentation will be at 6:30 a.m. in room K-069 of the Health Sciences Center.

The Peter K. Buehler Visiting Professorship was established by the UW Division of Plastic Surgery in 1994. Buehler, a faculty member in the division, died from heart disease in 1984.
