Takin’ out the pack

Gilbert Bombon, Utility Worker II from the Outside Maintenance Zone, removes dry-pack from below the paver bricks at the Kane Hall columns. The waterproofing below the pavers and dry pack had failed, causing leak problems in the underground book storage area between Odegaard Library and Kane Hall. Roofers were slated to waterproof the column bases, and when the leaks are eliminated the area will be reworked to its original condition.
