The award will be presented on March 19 at the meeting of the Assembly of Sea Grant Extension Program Leaders in Baton Rouge, La. Nosho began his career as WSGP’s aquaculture specialist in 1972, shortly after completing his graduate studies in the UW’s fisheries program. PIONEERS IN AVIATION: When the Pioneers in Aviation documentary is shown on KCTS/9 at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 17, one member of the UW community will be prominently featured. Randolph Hennes, program associate in the Honors Program and affiliate assistant professor of history, will be giving commentary on the program. According to the documentary’s writer/director William Winship (who did graduate work at the UW), Hennes’ “urbanity and wide-ranging historical knowledge provide the kind of authority and wit so often missing in historical documentaries.”
