Public Hearing Notice

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, in 309 HUB. The purpose of the hearing is to allow all interested persons an opportunity to present their views, either orally or in writing, on the proposed revisions to the “Football (and other events in excess of 24,000 in attendance)” portion of the University’s Parking Fee Schedule.

The Husky football transportation management plan is operated by Parking Services for the Department of Collegiate Athletics. Football parking fees have not increased as quickly as have the total cost of the program. Parking Services and the Athletic Department are reviewing changes to the program that will bring the costs in alignment with fees. Among the proposed changes are fees for transit from park and ride locations and increases in parking fees.

Advance copies of the Parking Fee Schedule revisions may be obtained by contacting Rebecca Goodwin Deardorff, Director, Administrative Procedures Office, 4014 University Way N.E., Seattle, WA 98105–6203; Campus Mail: Box 355509; or at 206–543–9199. Copies will also be available at the public hearing.

Persons wishing to provide written comment may submit their remarks to Deardorff at the above address, by e-mail to adminpro@u.washington.edu, or by fax to 206–616–6294, by June 6.

To request disability accommodation for this hearing, contact the UW Disability Services Office at least 10 days in advance of the event at: 206–543–6450/voice, 206–543–6452/TTY, 206–685–7264/fax, or by e-mail at dso@u.washington.edu.
