Gastroenterology begins weekly conference series

The Department of Medicine’s Division of Gastroenterology will offer a CME-accredited series of weekly conferences, beginning Friday, July 5.

The series, “Frontiers in Gastroenterology and Hepatology,” is designed for health-care professionals who treat patients with digestive or hepatobiliary diseases. The series will cover the latest advances in research and patient care.

The 90-minute conferences will take place every Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., in room K-069 at the Fialkow Pavilion (K-Wing) of the Health Sciences Center .

Division of Gastroenterology faculty members and fellows, as well as faculty members from other departments, such as pathology, surgery, and radiology, will lead the sessions. Local, national, and international experts also will be scheduled to speak on topics of current interest.
