Memorial for Dean Marsha Landolt and Robert Busch

WHAT: Memorial ceremony for Marsha Landolt, dean of the UW Graduate School, and her husband, Robert Busch.

WHEN: 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10

WHERE: 130 Kane Hall. Reception to follow in the Walker-Ames Room

DETAILS: Landolt, 55, and her husband Robert Busch, 58, died Jan. 2 when an avalanche struck their cabin near Soldier Mountain Ski Resort in Idaho. They were vacationing with five other members of their family, all of whom survived.

Landolt had been at the UW since 1975. She became dean of the Graduate School and vice provost in 1996.

Note: There will be a public viewing from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9 at Bleitz Funeral Home, 316 Florentia St., Seattle.
