Cholesterol study
The UW School of Medicine Division of Endocrinology is looking for black male volunteers between the ages of 19 and 70 to participate in a cholesterol study. Black men are known to have higher levels of HDL (the good cholesterol) than white men and UW researchers are studying the underlying reasons. Participants will visit the UW for a blood draw. Each person will receive his blood cholesterol levels and $25 compensation, as well as free parking and a full breakfast. For more information, call 206-543—8213.
