Funding minority programs

An informal discussion with Dr. Marigold Linton, president-elect of the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science, is planned from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, in room 248/250 of the South Campus Center.

The topic is “Strategies for Funding Minority Programs: Following a Vision.” Linton, a cognitive psychologist and director of American Indian Outreach at the University of Kansas, also works closely with Haskell Indian Nations University, where she is adjunct liaison for biomedical research.

The session is open to everyone and sponsored by the Northwest/Alaska Center to Reduce Oral Health Disparities.
