Engineering dean candidates to visit

Campus interviews for the next dean of the College of Engineering have been scheduled. The UW community is invited to meet with the following scheduled candidates:


Pramod Khargonekar, professor and dean, College of Engineering, University of Florida


  • 4:15–5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, open candidate seminar and question/answer session, 105 Electrical Engineering
  • 5:15–6:30 p.m, reception with Khargonekar in the Microsoft Atrium in the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering


Kyle Vanderlick, professor and chair, Department of Chemical Engineering, Princeton University


  • 4:30–5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, open candidate seminar and question/answer session in 301 Miller
  • 5:30-6:45 p.m. reception with Vanderlick in the Microsoft Atrium in the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science & Engineering


Ilesanmi Adesida, professor and interim dean, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
