Launch party planned for benefit CD
The Triple Door will host a launch party for Taste This Northwest, a CD benefiting homeless youth in the Northwest, from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19. The UW’s Partnership for Youth was involved in organizing the event and will benefit from it.
The Triple Door is a restaurant and nightclub in downtown Seattle. There will be a $10 cover for the event, and the CD is on sale for $10. The CD features songs from 14 bands, including four songs that are unreleased elsewhere.
Other agencies to benefit from the event include: 45th Street Clinic, Janus Youth Services, Outside In, New Avenues for Youth, Rising Out of the Shadows (ROOTS), Sanctuary Arts Center, Street Youth Ministries, University District Service Providers Collective, University District Youth Center, University Family YMCA, and University Street Ministry.
