Benefits in Brief

Members of the University community:

I am pleased to announce the arrival of the new Voluntary Investment Program (VIP) online enrollment/change enhancement to Employee Self-Service (ESS). VIP is a great way to save for retirement, and this online tool makes it easier than ever.

Available to campus now, this tool allows employees to establish, change, or cancel their VIP contributions online and replaces the paper VIP enrollment/change form. I encourage you to explore this new service and the valuable VIP retirement savings plan the University offers to all staff and faculty. Information about VIP can be found on the Benefits Office website at: www.washington.edu/admin/hr/benefits/vip.html.

Connect to ESS to review all of your UW benefits online at: https://prp.admin.washington.edu/ess/uwnetid/home.aspx.

Brought to you by the HR and Payroll Initiative of the USER Project, the Employee Self-Service team members donated countless hours to this project. The work of these dedicated individuals is what the USER Project is all about.
