Viola Day planned Jan. 14

UW School of Music faculty violist Melia Watras will host violists of all ages at Viola Day, Saturday, Jan. 14. Events include a viola concert, a “Play-in” where all are encouraged to play, master class, and reception. Seattle Symphony violists Susan Gulkis Assadi (principal viola) and Mara Gearman will be among the featured guests.

Visitors are welcome to bring a viola and join in, or simply come to listen. Events will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Brechemin Auditorium, School of Music.
