Talking about stem cell funding – a correction

In the Aug. 3 edition of University Week, the caption to the article titled “Raising their voices for stem cell funding” incorrectly identified Dr. Randall Moon, director of the UW Institute for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (far left), as Professor Tony Blau. Others on the late-July panel discussing stem cell research funding, from left after Moon, were Dean Paul Ramsey, UW President Mark Emmert, stem cell funding advocate Carey Christensen, U.S. Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, and patient Alex Goldberg.
