Veterans’ Day Ceremony planned for Nov. 9

Veterans will be honored in this year’s Joint Service Veterans’ Day Ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 9. Guest speakers include Michael Gregoire and Major General Timothy J. Lowenberg. All Army, Navy, Marine and Air Force cadets, midshipmen and officer candidates will also be present to pay tribute to our nation’s heroes. The event will begin at 4 pm in Red Square near the university flagpole and a reception will follow the ceremony in the Walker-Ames Room of Kane Hall.. Please rsvp to bettyn@u.washington.edu.
