Mini-Med lecture on preserving limbs Feb. 27


Preserving Limbs and Surviving Limb Loss is the topic of the next UW Mini-Medical School lecture at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27 in Hogness Auditorium, Health Sciences Center. Douglas Smith, UW associate professor of orthopaedics and sports medicine at Harborview, and Joseph Czerniecki, UW professor of rehabilitation medicine, and a panel of patients will talk about advances in preserving limbs, prosthetics, rehabilitation and patient care. UW Mini-Medical School is a six-part series of lectures and demonstrations intended for the general public.
