Double bass virtuoso to speak, teach

Canadian-American double bass virtuoso Gary Karr will discuss “My Life in Music” with UW School of Music double bassist Barry Lieberman at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 11 in Brechemin Auditorium. Karr may also “play a tune or two,” he says.

Karr is offering a master class at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, also in Brechemin Auditorium. The master class is free and open to the public for observation.
