Memorial to honor Rebecca Griego April 30
A memorial to honor the life of Rebecca Griego and to pay tribute to her life and work at the UW will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 30, in 130 Kane Hall (this represents a room change from the original plan). A reception in the Kane Hall foyer will follow.
The memorial will be an opportunity for Rebecca’s family, friends, colleagues, students and others to honor her memory and to reflect on the talents and gifts she brought to the UW community.
A scholarship fund for students in the Runstad Center for Real Estate Studies, where she worked, has been established in Rebecca’s memory. Contributions to the Rebecca J. Griego Memorial Scholarship can be made online at http://uwfoundation.org/ or by sending a check made out to “UW Foundation” to: Development Office, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Box 355726, Seattle, WA 98195.
