Piano lecture/recital and four — count ‘em four — guitars
The School of Music will present a piano concert and lecture by a member of the University of Idaho faculty on Jan. 27 and performances by guitar students on Feb. 1.
Jonathon Edward Mann, an assistant professor of piano at the University of Idaho’s Lionel Hampton School of Music an a dynamic performer in his own right, will present a lecture/recital on rare mastepieces for solo piano at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27, in the Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $10, cash or check at the door.
The guitar students of Michael Partington, a lecturer in the School of Music, will present a recital for one, two, three and four guitars or music from the Renaissance to the 20th century. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb 1, in Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $4, cash or check at the door.
