Roundtable on science blogging set for April 29
SciBlogging: A Roundtable Discussion on Science Blogs, will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in the Gates Commons, Room 691 of the Paul G. Allen Center for Computer Science and Engineering. Local science bloggers will join in a conversation about writing, research, and the uncertain future of science communication.
Bloggers who will participate include Alan Boyle, MSNBC.com, Cosmic Log; Dave Bacon, UW computer science, The Quantum Pontiff; Julianne Dalcanton, UW astronomy, Cosmic Variance; Eric Steig, UW Earth and space sciences, RealClimate; Keith Seinfeld, KPLU, Science and Wonder; and Sandra Porter, microbiologist, Biology in a Digital World.
