Golden West Winds Airforce Woodwind Quintet to perform Oct. 15
The Golden West Winds Airforce Woodwind Quintet, the resident woodwind quintet of the United States Air Force Band, will give a free recital of chamber music at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, in Brechemin Auditorium.
This group of highly trained musicians, based at California’s Travis Air Force Base, has delighted concert audiences throughout the western United States. The recital will feature chamber music ranging from the works of baroque masters to the ragtimes of Scott Joplin.
The quintet also will conduct a master class with students of the UW School of Music at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 in Brechemin Auditorium.
