New UW Photographers Group show opens Oct. 27
The UW Photographers Group will hold its eighth annual exhibition, Chiaro e Scuro, from Oct. 27 to Nov. 8 in the HUB Gallery. There will be a reception in the gallery from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.
In the exhibit, 16 photographers explore light and dark by showing one large black and white print each.
Press notes for the show state, “This is an entirely new way of showing UWPG work as a whole, and involves black and white postering, done up in large, large prints that will defy, perhaps, one’s assumptions about where photography is, and can be traveling.”
The exhibit can be seen during the regular open hours of the HUB building.
