Trouble reading UWeek in Gmail? We’re working on it

Some of our readers have reported difficulty recently with reading their University Week e-mail through Gmail. We are working on this problem and ask for your patience until it is resolved.

If you are having trouble with viewing the UWeek e-mail for any reason, please be aware that you can find the same information directly on our Web site. Either click on the link at the top of the e-mail or go to www.uweek.org.

Once on our Web site, you will see the same list of stories that appears in our e-mail, and you will also see several other things:

  • Editor’s Picks point you to interesting events coming up in the next week, and link you to the campuswide calendar for a full event listing.
  • Classified ads allow you to browse for interesting items, or post some yourself.
  • Community photos showcase interesting photos by the many photographers on campus.
  • The organization list includes information about a number of organizations that faculty and staff can join.

It’s nice to see a story on the e-mail that you would like to read, click on it and go directly to that story. But if you do only that, you miss the other things our homepage offers. Give it a try.
