‘Moving the Rock’ reception.
A book launch/signing reception for Mary Abrums, UW Bothell associate professor of nursing. Abrums will will lead a discussion and give readings from her book, Moving the Rock, which portrays several generations of African American women whose families migrated from the South to the Pacific Northwest in the 1940s and 1950s.
