Mystery Photo
Where are we? The photo above was taken somewhere on campus. You tell us where, and be specific. The name of a building is not enough. The names of all those with the correct answer will be entered in a drawing for a gift certificate donated by the University Book Store. Send your entry by e-mail to uweek@u.washington.edu along with your name and department. The deadline is 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9. We’ll give away one prize per quarter.
Last issue’s answer: Last issue’s photo fooled almost no one. However, although most people knew the photo was of a memorial and where that memorial is, the answers varied from “war memorial” to “veterans memorial” to “Vietnam Memorial” to “World War II Memorial.” For the record, the memorial honors the eight UW alumni who received the Congressional Medal of Honor.
