Media advisory: U.S. chief information officer to speak at UW
WHAT: Vivek Kundra, U.S. chief information officer, will speak on government efforts to make its information technology work better for citizens.
WHEN: 12:30-2 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2010
WHERE: Husky Union Building, Room 108
DETAILS: Kundra and his colleagues want government information technology to be as customer friendly as that in the private sector. Kundra will discuss ways the Obama administration is making information more accessible and seeking help from experts. Following his talk, Kundra will take questions.
