‘Sita Sings the Blues.’
Three hilarious shadow puppets narrate both ancient tragedy and modern comedy in this beautifully animated interpretation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Roger Ebert called it one of the best animated films of 2009. Part of the ongoing See Movies at Kane series. Introduced by Dept. of Women Studies Professor Priti Ramamurthy.
