Lavender handoff
Melody Ferguson, an admissions adviser and co-chair of the UW Tacoma Staff Association, hands a bunch of lavender to a customer during the association’s recent sale of the fragrant stuff to raise funds for its activities. The lavender is donated by Beth Luce, manager of communication services at UWT, who raises it on her small farm in Port Orchard.
