Three extraordinary talents comprise the Kavafian-Schub-Shifrin Trio, playing Meany Hall Oct. 20
Three virtuoso members of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center are playing together in a concert presented by the UW World Series.
Violinist Ani Kavafian, pianist Andre-Michel Schub and clarinetist David Shifrin have been making music for 25years, and all have renowned orchestra and solo music careers. Their decision to play as the Kavafian-Schub-Shifrin Trio has added yet another new dimension to their work.
Their concert will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Meany Hall. Tickets are $34 for general admission, $31 for series subscriber, $32 for faculty, staff and alumni, and $20 for students.
The combination of these three talents may be unusual, but audiences and critics will tell you that their chemistry is undeniable. The Baltimore Sun praised the Trio’s “technical polish and supple collaborative instincts.”
Tickets may be purchased by phone at 206-543-4880, online at www.uwworldseries.org, or in person at the UW Arts Ticket Office. To learn more about this event, visit www.uwworldseries.org.
