‘UW 360 resumes, featuring interview with new president
UW 360, the magazine-style show produced by UWTV that explores the uniqueness of UW life, returns from its summer hiatus at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, featuring a sit-down interview with the new University president, Michael Young.
UW 360 profiles the fascinating people, programs and community connections cultivated by the University, and has already broadcast segments on everything from the UWs furniture design studio to the Husky volleyball program.
Other subjects of the program in September are UW faculty member Eric Chudler teaching basic neuroscience to Tibetan monks; the developer of the popular web app One Bus Away; the Integrated Design Labs work building energy efficient structures; and a special on recognizing sports concussions in young athletes.
Viewers can watch the program at uwtv.org or on cable channel 27 in the Puget Sound region. For other Washington viewing areas, please visit the website.
