International dental symposium to focus on caries and periodontal disease
New knowledge about caries and periodontal disease and its impact on daily dental practice will be examined during the Third Washington Dental Service Foundation Distinguished Professorship Symposium, May 21 and 22, at the Four Seasons Olympic Hot el in Seattle.
The event will feature internationally distinguished speakers who will share their knowledge and vision for the future of dentistry.
The first day of the conference will focus on caries in regard to infectious nature, r isk assessment and management, diagnosis, prevention and treatment. The second day will focus on periodontitis, including new approaches to diagnosis and treatment and the relationship between oral and systemic health. The closing session will be focuse d on impediments to change in clinical dentistry and ways to resolve them.
The goal of the symposium is for every participant to gain new knowledge and information that will have a significant impact on his or her dental practice.
Since attendance for this event is limited, early registration is strongly recommended. Registration for the symposium is $325 prior to April 1 and $350 following that date.
