Youth service lecture set for Dec. 8

Pathways to Civic Participation: Youth Service in the Global Context is the title of a lecture to be delivered by Susan Stroud, executive director of the nonprofit social change organization Innovations in Civic Participation. The lecture will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, in room T-625 of the Health Sciences Center. A reception will follow the lecture.

Stroud’s lecture is co-sponsored by the UW College of Education and School of Public Health and Community Medicine. More information on Innovations in Civic Participation is available on the group’s Web site, http://www.icicp.org/.
