Issue numbers explained
If you’re one of those people who pays attention to volume and issue numbers on your newspaper, you may notice something unusual about University Week. With our new combination of paper issues and online issues, we at first decided not to give our online issues separate numbers. But we’ve reconsidered. As a result, our first six issues this fall — Oct. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 and Nov. 7 — are combined into three issue numbers. But last week’s online issue, Nov. 14, was number 4 and this week’s on paper is number 5. We will number each issue sequentially from now on, regardless of whether UWeek is on paper or online. Our apologies for any confusion this unusual system creates.
