Tickets on sale for Katie appearance

Well known author (Loving What Is) Byron Katie will be coming to the UW on Thursday, May 11 for two events — one for students in the Psychology and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Departments and one for the general public. The open session will be at 6 p.m. that evening in 120 Kane.

Katie calls what she does The Work, which she describes as “a penetrating inquiry process of four questions and a ‘turnaround.'” Through the process, Katie says, unconscious beliefs are exposed to direct investigation and mistakes can be corrected.

Tickets for the Katie event are $5 for students, $13 for staff and faculty and $15 for the general public. They are available at the HUB Ticket Office or online at http://www.thework.com.
