C&C expands computing support hours

To provide additional and more convenient customer service for faculty, staff and students on UW NetID computing and network issues, Computing & Communications (C&C) recently expanded its customer support hours, adding three additional hours in the evenings, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Help from C&C Information and Technical Support on UW NetID, UW Internet Connectivity Kit and other computing-related issues now is available by phone at

206-543-5970, by e-mail at help@u.washington.edu, or walk-in (Mary Gates Hall 011) during these times:


  • Monday through Friday: 8 a.m.-8 p.m. (Closed Saturday)
  • Sunday: 1 p.m.-8 p.m.

“These additional evening hours allow us to provide support at a time that may be more convenient,” said Richard Ortiz, manager of C&C Information and Technical Support. “It also enables us to provide enhanced support for second shift requests from staff in the UW Medical Centers.”
