Expect congestion in Montlake area this week

Traffic may be congested around Hec Edmondson Pavilion this week as it hosts several events related to the Dalai Lama’s visit to Seattle.

Events at Hec Ed are:

• 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 11
  
• 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, April 14
  
• 9:30 to 1:45 Tuesday, April 15

Each of these events are expected to draw about 8,000 people to the Bank of America Arena. People who need to drive in the vicinity should expect delays.

Parking lot E-1 will be the designated lot for those attending any of the three events.
