Voice students to perform Feb. 23
UW voice students perform art songs and arias by Handel, Haydn, and Mendelssohn in the voice division recital at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23 in Brechemin Auditorium. Members of the UW Baroque Ensemble appear on several selections.
The program remembers Handel on the 250th anniversary of his death in 1759; Haydn on the 200th anniversary of his death in 1809; and Mendelssohn on the 200th anniversary of his birth in 1809.
