Provost plans conversations on budget
Faculty and staff are invited to join Provost Phyllis Wise for drop-in conversations in the UW Club Conference Room about the status of the state budget and the University’s plans for dealing with it. The conversations will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, March 13 and 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, April 17. Provost Wise will talk about where the University is in planning for budget reductions, as well as the priorities and strategies for achieving them. She is also interested in hearing ideas from faculty and staff about how the University can manage through the current economic downturn.
