UW authors on writing.
English Professor Shawn Wong and UW alumna Tanya Egan Gibson will discuss fiction, publishing and the differences between academic and creative writing. Wong is the author of American Knees (the film of which, Americanese, will be released this year), and Gibson’s debut novel is How to Buy a Love of Reading. The presentation is titled “How to Write a Novel in Only 30 Years.”
