Happy Earth Day to you
The UW’s three campuses will brim with activities on Earth Day’s 40th birthday, Thursday, April 22. There will be a Sustainability Fair from 1 to 3 p.m. on the HUB lawn where compact fluorescent light bulbs (upper right) will be given out, a compost audit (lower left) will be held, and much more. Meanwhile, at the UW Tower, employees — many from Educational Outreach — are pledging 40 days of green living (upper left), and that’s just the icing on the Earth cake (lower right).
