It’s an all-you-can-eat summer at 8 @ McMahon restaurants

In an effort to steer the campus community toward its other restaurants when the HUB closes, UW Housing & Food Services is offering an “all you can eat” lunch option for $6.50 for faculty and staff throughout the summer at the 8 @ McMahon cluster of eateries.

The offer started on June 21 and will continue through Sept. 17. Faculty and staff must show their ID for the deal, and it’s dine-in only — food cannot be ordered to go. You can pay with cash, Visa, Mastercard or a Husky Card (which does not add taxes). Lunch is from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The restaurants in 8 @ McMahon are:

  • Abundo, serving home-style comfort cooking, rotisserie meats and tossed-to-order pasta.
  • Broiler Zone, a contemporary diner.
  • JoeHaus, serving organic, shade-grown Fair Trade-certified espresso and a variety of pastries.
  • Pagliacci, serving the pizza and salads well known to the UW community.
  • Wild Greens, featuring tossed-to-order specialty salads, a salad bar and soups.
