Arts Roundup: Mallethead Series, UW Sings – and MFA + MDes Exhibition Opening Party
Celebrate the work of graduating MFA and MDes students from the School of Art + Art History + Design at their annual Thesis Exhibition party. Catch performances by a host of music ensembles, including Studio Jazz Ensemble, Modern Band, University Singers, UW Women’s Choir and Men’s Glee Club. Studio Jazz Ensemble and Modern Band

Two ensembles from the School of Music join together for their spring quarter concert, featuring big band arrangements, jazz standards, selections from the outer limits of the genre, and original compositions. More info.

Celebrate the graduating class of students receiving master’s degrees from the Division of Art and Division of Design at the MFA + MDes Thesis Exhibition opening party. The final Mallethead Series concert of the year celebrates Professor Tom Collier, who retires this year after leading the UW’s percussion studies program for more than 30 years. More info.
