As the Deputy Director of the Western Fire and Forest Resilience Collaborative, Crystal Raymond helps lead a multi-institutional collaborative on fire across the West. She can talk about topics related to fire, fire and climate change, forest resilience and forest management.
She previously worked for the UW Climate Impacts Group and with the U.S. Forest Service conducting vulnerability assessments and adaptation plans for national parks and forests. She also worked for a public electric utility to assess the vulnerability of energy infrastructure and operations, and prepare for potential climate impacts. Raymond holds a UW doctorate in ecosystem analysis.
