Pursuant to the provisions of WAC 197-11-340 and WAC 478-324-140, the University of Washington hereby provides public notice of: Determination of non-significance
Project Name: Site W27 Project
Proponent/Lead Agency: University of Washington – Seattle campus
Comment period closes: July 21, 2022
Description of proposal: The university is proposing to build a new approximately 340,000 gross square feet academic building in West Campus for student and faculty collaborative spaces, laboratories, classrooms and offices. This would be on development site W27 as identified in the UW 2019 Seattle Campus Master Plan.
Location of proposal: The project site is generally bounded by the Ethnic Cultural Theater to the north, University Way NE to the east, NE Pacific Street to the south, and Brooklyn Avenue NE to the west.
