UW Business School dean kicks of lecture series

University of Washington Business School Dean Yash Gupta this month begins a “Dean’s Business Breakfast Lecture Series” featuring the Puget Sound’s leading business executives and the school’s faculty.

The series will give business leaders an opportunity to connect with UW Business School faculty, students and other business professionals.

Each talk will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The first talk will be held on the UW campus in the Seafirst Executive Education Center, fourth floor, Douglas Forum seminar room. The rest of the talks will be in the Husky Union Building, West Ballroom. Speakers are:
? Feb. 22 — “The Wild Information Technology Industry: What Next?” by Robert J. Herbold, Microsoft Corp., executive vice president and chief financial officer.
? March 21 — Philip M. Condit, The Boeing Company chairman and chief executive officer.
? April 17 — Solomon D. Trujillo, graviton Inc. chairman, president and chief executive officer.
? May 15 — Speaker to be announced.
