Ed Kolodziej
Associate professor, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering
Water quality/stormwater
Expertise: Water quality and organic contaminants in natural and engineered systems, particularly in urban environments and roadway runoff
Ed Kolodziej is also an associate professor of interdisciplinary arts & sciences at UW Tacoma and a principal investigator at Center for Urban Waters. Kolodziej’s research group works to characterize and control stormwater and non-point source pollution, as well as understand removal mechanisms in natural systems and optimize engineered systems for trace contaminant removal. The team also works to understand vehicle and tire-derived pollution.
