Kristi Straus is a lecturer and associate director in the Environmental Studies program and the recipient of a 2017 University of Washington Distinguished Teaching Award. She is passionate about environmental conservation and effective teaching of environmental topics for students of all ages. Her work focuses on conservation of local marine invertebrates, as well as the science of science education.
