Meade Krosby is a senior scientist with the UW Climate Impacts Group. She is also the university director of the Northwest Climate Adaptation Science Center. Krosby works closely with policymakers and resource managers to provide the science, tools and guidance needed to address climate risks facing Northwest communities and ecosystems. Her current work includes assessment of climate risks and adaptation responses; large landscape conservation planning for climate resilience; and efforts to build climate adaptation capacity and communities of practice. She received a bachelor’s in biology from Cornell University and a doctorate in biology from the University of Washington.
