Eagen-Torkko’s scholarship uses a feminist perspective to explore how social structures/norms and life events intersect to affect women’s health outcomes. Eagen-Torkko is also a nurse midwife with a continuing practice at Public Health Seattle-King County, where her practice specializes in sexual and reproductive health.
