MCAC Hosts UW in the Community Reception

MCAC Hosts UW in the Community ReceptionThe University of Washington President’s Minority Community Advisory Committee (MCAC) hosted a reception with President Michael Young and community members of color at the Daybreak Star Center in Seattle, May 23.

eNews Fall 2013The event was an opportunity for invited guests to meet with the President, the MCAC and other UW leaders to learn more about what the University is doing in these communities. Program speakers included MCAC members Larry Gossett, Marty Bluewater and Mary Pugh, as well as UW student Kendall Morgan. President Young and Vice President for Minority Affairs and Vice Provost for Diversity Sheila Edwards Lange also offered remarks.
