Dr. Sheila Edwards Lange, University of Washington vice president for minority affairs and vice provost for diversity, has been named the UW College of Education 2013 Distinguished Graduate Awardee. She will be recognized at the College of Ed’s graduation celebration on Sat., June 15 and will deliver the event’s keynote address.
Established in 1986, this award is presented annually to a College of Education graduate of marked distinction. Lange received a doctorate in educational leadership and policy studies and a master’s degree in public administration.
